In Cheshire, Disability Football has one league structure called the Cheshire Ability Counts Football League.
In this league there are divisions providing opportunities for Under 12 and Under 16 teams plus adult male and female teams which are ages 16 and above.
The divisions are run on a round robin basis where teams come together for a fixture date, on a monthly basis. The League fixtures commence in October and run for seven months through to April, with a Cup competition, held at Cheshire FA HQ in Northwich during June.
Our two Adult PAN-Disability teams, play in the Cheshire East Ability Counts League, which is run by the Cheshire FA and Stockport County Community Sports and Education Foundation.
We are pleased to represent our Stalybridge Celtic Disability team on the League Committee, with regular meetings taking place throughout the year at the Cheshire FA, to ensure that high standards are maintained throughout the Ability Counts Leagues in Cheshire.
